아무르표범(Panthera pardus orientalis)은 표범의 아종으로, 극동 러시아와 중국 사이에 펼쳐진 온대림에서 발견됩니다. 해당 지역의 따뜻한 여름과 추운 겨울에 모두 적응한 이 대형 고양잇과 동물은 키는 작지만 근육질이며, 두꺼운 꼬리와 넓은 얼굴 및 작고 둥근 귀를 가지고 있습니다. 아무르 표범의 털은 매우 촘촘하며 황갈색부터 주황색에 이르는 여러 가지 색상을 지니고 있고, 배에는 하얀색 털이 자랍니다. 몸통은 검은 장미 모양 반점으로 덮여 있으며, 이 반점은 다리와 하체로 내려가면서 검은색의 단색 반점이 됩니다. 아무르표범의 어깨 높이는 60~78cm이고, 몸길이는 100~136cm이며, 꼬리는 82~90cm입니다. 수컷은 32~48kg이고 암컷은 25~42kg으로, 대개 암컷이 수컷보다 작고 가볍습니다.
