퀸즐랜드 코알라 (Phascolarctos cinereus)는 호주 동부의 유칼립투스 산림에 서식하는 수목 유대목 동물입니다. 회색 또는 갈색 털과 다양한 상황에서 유용하게 쓰이는 팔과 다리, 털이 복슬복슬한 귀, 검은색의 둥글납작한 코를 가지고 있습니다. 퀸즐랜드 코알라는 성적 동종이형 종으로 수컷의 크기가 암컷보다 훨씬 더 큽니다. 몸길이 60~75cm로 수컷의 몸무게는 4.2~9.1kg이며 암컷은 4.1~7.3kg입니다. 암수 구분 없이 대부분의 코알라가 유칼립투스 나뭇잎을 먹으며 생활합니다.
