メキシカンレッドニータランチュラ (Brachypelma hamorii) は、メキシコの低木地、砂漠、森林に生息するクモである。黒い身体と脚、関節に朱色の配色、そして他のすべてのタランチュラ種と同様に全身が敏感な毛でおおわれている。体長約 10cm、脚を広げると 15cm になる。夜行性で、日中は巣穴で過ごし、夜になると獲物を求めて狩りに出る。昆虫や、小さな両生類や哺乳類を餌にする。
