Le loup arctique (Canis lupus arctos) est une grande espèce de canidé qui vit dans le nord du Canada et au Groenland. Également appelé loup blanc, c'est un prédateur chassant en grandes meutes et se nourrissant principalement de bœufs musqués et de lièvres arctiques, bien qu'il lui arrive également de manger des renards, des oiseaux, des oursons et occasionnellement des charognes.
