We’re delighted to celebrate that Planet Coaster 2 has received recognition as part of BAFTA's Best Games of 2024 longlist, making the selection in both the Best British Game and the Best Family Game categories.
The list is compiled by over 1,200 experienced games industry professionals - all members of BAFTA. In total 247 games were considered, and you can read the full longlist of games here.
BAFTA members will begin voting for the nominations in Best Game and British Game categories in January 2025, with specialist BAFTA juries voting for the others. The nominations will be announced on Tuesday 4 March 2024. Following the nominations, BAFTA’s games members will vote for the winners in Best Game and British Game, and juries will vote for the winners in all other categories. The winners will be announced at the 2024 BAFTA Games Awards on Tuesday 8 April.
