In October’s episode of Frontier Unlocked, which took place on Wednesday 30 October, hosts Arthur Tolmie and Chantal Williams took a live look at franchise mode in the highly-anticipated Planet Coaster 2, shared news on the latest DLC for Planet Zoo: Console Edition, and lifted the covers on Elite Dangerous’ final ship release of the year alongside the reveal of a brand new feature, System Colonisation!

Ahead of next week’s launch on 6th November, Game Director Rich Newbold and Senior Executive Producer Adam Woods stopped by for a live Deep Dive into all things Franchise mode and sharing!
Arthur was then joined by Senior Executive Producer Adam Woods to showcase some live gameplay, including a first look at attractions available to players who pre-order, and a selection of those included with the deluxe edition.

Planet Zoo
This month’s Unlocked also revealed that the Arctic & Conservation Bundle is arriving for Planet Zoo: Console Edition on Tuesday 3rd December. Players can welcome 9 incredible animals to their zoos, including the powerful Polar bear and the stocky Przewalski’s horse. In addition, zookeepers can transform their zoos into winter wonderlands or conservation havens thanks to over 350 scenery pieces and test their skills in 3 epic scenarios.
The Arctic Pack and Conservation Pack will each be available separately for an SRP of £7.99/$9.99/€9.99, or as a bundle for the discounted price of £11.99/$14.99/€14.99.

Elite Dangerous
Arthur and Zac celebrated the upcoming launch of the Ascendancy update on 31 October, which will introduce Powerplay 2.0, a fundamental rework of the existing Powerplay system in Elite Dangerous allowing players to pledge loyalty to a galactic Power. In exchange for their actions in the galaxy, Commanders can access tiered benefits from their respective Power. Ascendancy also introduces the Mandalay, Elite's third new ship this year, a long-distance exploration vessel perfect for exploring the stars. The Mandalay will launch in ARX early access and be available for in-game credits at a later date.
Hot on the heels of the Mandalay, Commanders got an exclusive first look at the Cobra Mk V, coming to ARX early access soon. The duo also revealed the very first details on Elite Dangerous' next major update, System Colonisation, which will allow players to claim their own systems throughout the universe, expanding the bubble of colonised space with space stations and settlements as they leave their mark on the galaxy!
