At Frontier, we are committed to recycling and waste reduction with a goal of zero to landfill. We follow legislative guidelines to fulfil our legal duty of care and check the accreditation and processes of all our waste disposal suppliers. Through our waste contractors’ reporting tools, we monitor how our waste is disposed of and inform employees how our team is measuring against our recycling goals

To optimise our recycling strategies, we separate waste within the studio before collection and have removed personal desk bins. We continually review the various waste streams within our studio and try to prevent unnecessary waste generation by eliminating them from our processes or reducing them as much as possible.

One such waste stream we have focused on is end-of-life IT equipment – working equipment is now occasionally provided free of charge to employees to be reused including monitors, workstations, and computing components.

We engage employees in recycling initiatives along with our waste suppliers and on-site cleaning partners to promote recycling and inform employees of the journey of our waste once collected.

We keep abreast of innovative ideas for recycling to ensure that we continue to achieve our goals.

We manage volume of printing by having ‘smart printer/ copiers’ automatically set to print duplex with ‘follow me’ printing to reduce paper waste through uncollected printing.

We use smart battery recycle to ensure that batteries, tested for voltage before being placed into the recycling bin, are recycled, and do not end up in landfill sites.
