With one year under its belt, the Las Vegas Grand Prix is no longer new ground, but it’s certainly far from familiar with plenty of surprises to expect.
- One pit strategies are king in Las Vegas, but with an average pit time of only 13 seconds under a safety car or virtual safety car, gambling on a rare extra stop may give you the advantage you need to push into points.
- Opening on softs or mediums to set the pace will get you off to the best start in Vegas.
- Turn 1 is likely to see some bunching up early in the race, but with a DRS zone and straight just a short distance away, you can’t afford to lose any battles here.
