A swarming Assault unit and the most numerous of all the spirits that join Nighthaunt processions. These gheists are created from the spirits of the most vicious and irredeemable criminals to have lived in the Mortal Realms. Chainrasps may have thought death to be an escape from terrible imprisonment but, in truth, it was merely the beginning.

As an individual unit, the Chainrasps are weak frontline troops, but in groups, they can quickly swarm their enemies. These ghoulish soldiers also have access to two upgrades that make them a significant threat.
- If upgraded with Wave of Terror, Chainrasps gain extra damage when near other units with the same upgrade. You can stack the buff up to four times.
- Alternatively, you can upgrade your Chainrasps with the Reinforce ability, allowing you to regain lost soldiers without returning to the Black Rose Cemetery.
- Give your Chainrasps a rest between fights so they can restore their Spectral Protection shield.
