Tips & Tricks

While Qatar’s circuit will eat up your tyres, the consistent weather and tough turns mean you can plan your pit stops.

  1. If the safety car appears at Lusail, you can mask your tyre changes while the whole circuit is held behind a yellow flag.
  2. By starting on mediums, your drivers can gain places in the opening laps and then swap to hards to maintain their position.
  3. Plan to stay on the hards until the end of the race, but swap back to mediums if the virtual safety car or safety car comes out in the final 20 laps.
