Tips & Tricks

A brutal combination of rough circuit surface, a lengthy pit stop, and stormy weather makes for one of the most unpredictable races of the season.

  1. Suzuka rewards patient drivers; if you can get away with one pit stop, you will have a step up on most of the competition.
  2. Aggressive driving on this highly abrasive circuit may force you to stop twice, immediately giving you a 30-second penalty you need to come back from.
  3. If rain is forecast, try to hold your first pit stop until it starts: you will get an advantage on every driver who pitted once and now must change to inters.
